Just returned from two weeks of 85 degree sunshine, bright blue skies and warm moonlit nights on "old Florida's" Pine Island (west coast).Spent a lot of time on Pine Island Sound and taking in the local music and art scene. Some of my work has been accepted into a new gallery on the island called Earth & Spirit.
Photos from top to bottom: I love the pelicans on the island, here's three waiting for a meal on the top of a boat lift.
Beatuiful full moon over the ol' place in Bokeelia.
Lulu soaking up the rays at the only public beach on the island (that's what's kept the hise rise eyesores from developing).
Cruising Pine Island Sound in the pontoon boat. Capt. Lee at the helm and a motley crew of Roger, Maryanne, Lynne and Lulu. Captiva Island in the background.
Ahhhh! Corona's all around and lunch at Barnacle Phil's on Captiva Island.
