 Flickers on the birdfeeder,
 ice on the river
and icicles.......EVERYWHERE! C'mon summer!

Another "different" interesting project. My son Jeremy built these fireplace inserts (they are removable) for his home and asked if I could paint a primitive type scene on them. There is some evidence that 18th or 19th century homes had these. Here are the results, not bad if I do say so.
I think this one's ready. Started this particular painting 3 autumns ago. It's along Rt.5 in Westminster,VT. 11x14 oil on canvas.

Here's the 2010 take on my "Twas the night before Christmas" series. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed this years efforts.
Winter scene from the Rocky Hill Meadows.
Co-operative art project from Me and Lauren. Our version of the TV show Wipeout.
Fresh off the easel! Felt inspired so Sunday I put on my winter painting clothes and went out in the snow and cold and found this really nice scene to capture in oils. Right in my own backyard!

"The important thing is to not do things that have been done before but see if you can find a celebration of the visual sense that is independant of things people already know. It's a sin to be painting things people already know." - Wolf Kahn
Here's the doll of the family. Not the guy kneeling down!

Here's the kid that SHOULD be doing the E*Trade commercials.
